The Gujarat government on Wednesday dropped the state board assessments for class 12 as a result of the Covid emergency.
Gujarat Education Minister Bhupendrasinh Chudasama reported this data today. Prior, the Gujarat Board had chosen to direct Class 12 board tests from July 1.
Chudasama said, "Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board drops class twelfth board assessment".
The choice to defer Class twelfth board tests in Gujarat came after Prime Minister Narendra Modi declared the crossing out of the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) board tests for Class 12 understudies on Tuesday.
Chudasama said the state government had not taken any choice at this point about the "repeater" understudies of class 10 and class 12.

Recently, Gujarat added 1,561 new Covid diseases, taking the count to 8,10,730 while 22 fatalities pushed the cost to 9,855.
